Our Story
Rashtriya Devbhumi Party (RDP) was born not as a conventional political organization, but as a peopleтАЩs movement (Andolan)тАФa movement that emerged from the struggle for the rights, dignity, and representation of the Swarn Samaj in Himachal Pradesh.
The foundation of RDP lies in the firm demand for the formation of a Swarn Samaj Commission, a promise that was repeatedly made but ultimately ignored by the sitting BJP government.
When the government failed to honor its commitment and refused to take concrete action, concerned citizens, activists, and young professionals came together with a shared resolve: if the system refuses to listen, the people must organize and lead change themselves.
What began as a movement for justice and accountability soon evolved into a broader vision for political transformation in Himachal Pradesh.
RDP is not a party of career politicians. It is a collective of teachers, farmers, entrepreneurs, students, professionals, and grassroots activists who deeply love Himachal and believe that politics must serve the peopleтАФnot vested interests.
Over time, the movement expanded beyond a single issue, embracing the larger challenges facing the state, including governance failures, unemployment, youth migration, economic stress, and social injustice.
Today, Rashtriya Devbhumi Party stands as a people-driven alternative, committed to transparent governance, equal rights, and a just future for all Himachalis.
Rooted in struggle and guided by public participation, RDP continues to fight for a stronger, fairer, and more accountable Himachal Pradesh.
